Charlie continues to amaze me with how smart he is & how much he picks up on. We are enjoying having actual conversations with him instead of just him answering questions.
- We bought a swing set on Mothers Day and finally got it put up. He loves the slide. He also loves playing in his swimming pool and doesn't mind when the water is freezing cold.
- He has a stool he carries around the house and he has figured out he can get most anything he wants with it. He has been using it for a few months now and recently figured out the chair will help him reach up even higher! He likes filling up glasses with water from the fridge & keeping us well hydrated.
- I am amazed at how patient he is MOST of the time with Levi. He doesn't appear to get jealous and loves to interact with his little brother. At bedtime he will ask if Levi wants to come read books with us. He also does a good job keeping an eye on him at daycare.
- He's getting better at saying "Levi" and he loves it when his brother gives him kisses (big slobbery ones) at night.
- He picks up on every little noise and wants to know what it is.
- He talks nonstop and also sings. His favorite song right now is the itsy bitsy spider but he also likes twinkle twinkle little star, the abc's and old mcdonald. When he sings old mcdonald it's "old mcdonald had a farm. YI Yo. Yi YO." Repeat Repeat.
- When we read books at night he has most of the memorized and will repeat me. Even though the cat in the hat is extremely long, he will fill in the blank for most of the rhyming words. It's impressive. At nap time we go through the exact same routine and even though he usually doesn't pay attention and is running around his room he doesn't care, as long as you read all of the books in his pile.
