Christmas

We visited the big guy a couple of weekends before Christmas. Both sat willingly. Charlie asked for a milk truck and that was it. He never waivered from that request either which made Santa's job pretty easy once he located a toy milk truck (or a tanker truck that could be easily passed off as a milk truck).

Christmas Eve day Erik had off so after naps we went to our church. Levi has been really well behaved (considering...) recently at church but he was a big stinker that night. Still love Christmas Eve at our church though, even  if it's at 4pm. It's so packed & happy.

After that we headed to the white farm. After the chores were done we had supper & then tried to get a picture of the 3 boys. Levi is pretty much a lost cause when it comes to pictures these days. And Charlie has practically given up trying to control him.

It was a late night but the boys but the boys were rolling at 7am ready to see what Santa had left. Practical Santa did it again leaving vitamins & toothbrushes in the stocking & then 1 toy for each boy & then the play kitchen for both of them.  They also opened gifts from us which included a gopher shirt, gloves & Jake matching game (for Charlie) & play food, socks and gloves (for Levi).

Then we headed over to Kathy's. We were the first ones there so we had plenty of time to play. Lots of time to practice patience again today but we did let all of the little guys open their gifts before the big kids went. It's pretty weird having so many little babies (all boys, except for 1) around.

He will sit still if he can hold cousin Haiden.

He doesn't like to share Haiden though

We headed to the red farm late Friday & celebrated with my family on Saturday and then the extended fam on Sunday. A very quick & busy trip.

I ordered this for guaranteed Christmas delivery -- good thing Christmas wasn't until the 29th ;) He loves it.

We made 4 of these snowmen for the boys' Godparents.

He almost wet his pants when he opened this hay elevator. "IT'S JUST WHAT I NEEDED!!" And he hasn't stopped playing with it since

The theme of this Christmas was trucks & construction equipment. We have quite the fleet now and I think we have 4 different sizes of payloaders, backhoes, bulldozers, dumptrucks. We'll be saving the bigger ones for the sand box! We have so.much.stuff. I thought everyone was very reasonable & practical, but with so many different celebrations even 1 gift from all of our relatives for the boys (so x2) adds up so quickly. We're so fortunate to live close to family and be able to get together with (almost) everyone so often.

I really wanted to leave the tree up for awhile but now I'm pretty much over it & ready to reclaim the space  & attempt to organize the influx of stuff. And, I'm officially pinterested-out from Christmas. We made things from godparents, grandparents, and waaaayyy too much food/treats. Of course I have hit up the after Christmas sales for next year's Santa jammies & other crafts :)
