Well this is fashionably late....
We took a little unplanned trip to the chores farm over the 4th (of July) to attend a funeral and decided to make a nice long week out of it. We stayed super busy since there was lots of hay to bale. Charlie FINALLY got to ride in the baler with grandpa & watch the bales fly off the kicker. He also spent lots of time helping with chores. On the 4th, we went to the Cherry Grove parade. I don't think we've ever taken Charlie to a parade before so he told us "I don't like parades" but once he figured out everyone else was going he decided to try. He had fun -- he loved picking up the candy & Levi loved the free reign at all of the suckers. He would have unwrapped & eaten one after another if we would have let him! After taking naps grandma and tyler went swimming with us. Both boys had a blast. This was the first time in a very, very long time since we have been down there and had nice weather!

I love that Charlie said he didn't like parades...and he didn't even know what it was! Ava does the same thing, too...and luckily, we're able to convince her to try new things, otherwise, she'd get bored, really fast! :)
