99.7

Charlie had his 4-month appointment on Thursday. I am happy to report that Charlie is a very big & healthy baby. He officially weighed 17lbs 3 oz putting him in the 90th percentile & was 28" long putting him in the 99.7 percentile. Holy smokes! I have been weighing him randomly at home and thought he weighed around 17 pounds but I never considered how that compared to other 4 month olds. No wonder it seems like those 3-6 month clothes are getting small. I shouldn't be surprised, I've been putting him 6-9 month onesies since the beginning of June because the other ones wouldn't button anymore.
He also had 2 shots & an oral vaccine at this appointment. She was done with the first one and almost with the second before he realized what was happening. I got that "WHAT THE HELL MOM!" look, a really red face, the lip, and finally about 5 seconds of screaming and then he was over it. I was prepared for a long night but he didn't even take any Tylenol and was back to his happy self for the day. I held him & spoiled him anyway just to make sure.

Relaxing after shots:
Check out that slobbery chin :)

  1. We'll have to start calling him Big Boy Charlie in the Tub, instead of Baby Charlie in the Tub! Holy smokes, he is getting BIG!
