I can't believe it's the end of July already. Lucky for me, because of the late Labor Day this year, we don't even start teacher workshops until September. Whew, that means I have a whole month yet!
By now, I'm sure all of you have heard our exciting news!!!!!!! Keeping it a secret was very hard, I didnt' do a very good job either. Oh well. We are looking forward to February when we will become parents.....wait that sounds weird.
Like I said, July has flown by. I spent a week at an ag teachers conference. I also spent a week back in the Spring Valley area, camping with Brooke & Larissa (it was really cold and uneventful) and then helped Tyler at the fair for the week. This week I've spent a couple of days at school trying to get organized and I judged a county fair - shop, tractor, small engines and aerospace. It just goes to show you dont have to necessarily know much about the topic, just be able to ask questions. Overall it was a good experience. I only had 1 of THOSE parents. He stood over his daugthers' shoulder the whole time (yes, he had 2) and kept commenting, "Oh did you tell her how you did this" "Did you tell her this?" That got annoying. Part of me wanted to give them reds because he was a pain but I didn't think that would be fair to the kids either. I could tell they were also irritated. Perhaps if they were Cloverbuds it would be different, but no, one was in 7th grade, the other was in high school...
