Baby Waylon

Waylon Duane joined our family on November 2nd, 2 days after his due date. after a very long early labor (12+ hours!!), once he finally got done to business it was over very quickly so I was only really miserable for about 30 minutes! as with our other boys, it took us forever to decide on a name. he was 7#1oz and 19" long, the smallest of our kids by quite a bit. I did measure small most of the pregnancy and even had a growth scan at 38 weeks just to make sure all was on track. I was still surprised at how little he was. my final gender call was a boy so I guess I am 4/4 in predicting :)

So far things are going very well. I have had a very easy recovery and Waylon is a model baby. it also helps that the big kids are at school or daycare during the week. I am enjoying my time at home with Waylon and the peace and quiet. when we are all home it is a little crazy. Levi and nora have been extra clingy to me and don't appreciate anybody else helping them. all of the kids are obsessed with Waylon and love holding him.
