Nora is 2!

The sweetest, happiest, cutest, (no longer really a) baby turned 2 last week! She now thinks every day is her birthday. We had family over for a little party the weekend before her birthday. Ice cream was the theme and we kept it pretty simple. We made a cupcake ice cream cone and had lots of different toppings to go with the ice cream. The ice cream & candy part was probably more for mom than Nora.

No nap, this is about as grumpy as she gets!

Obsessed with dolls. I don't think either of the boys have ever been as obsessed with a toy more than she is with her babies. She got a lot of baby loot which means she will hopefully start leaving the REAL baby gear alone. Being a single mom of 5 little babies is hard work.

I made her  a baby carrier so she can wear her babies. Then the brothers wanted to sew too, so Charlie helped make her a set of little diapers and Levi helped make a couple of blankets. They are getting good use.

Other things about Nora: She loves sleeping and is sleeping about 12 hours at night with a nice nap during the day. She is (currently) the most even keeled child ever and is almost always pleasant and delightful. When she wakes up she just hangs out in her crib for a long time and doesn't cry for us to come and get her. She has been talking really well for a long time now and she talks a lot. She recalls a lot of details and tells little stories. It's so hard to remember how well the boys talked at 2, but it seems like she talked a lot more and much earlier than them. Who knows though. She gave up the highchair a few months ago and sits at the table in a booster. She is a good eater but we're starting to see her get a bit more picky and vocal about what she wants. The only things that really make her mad include taking her babies and having to get out of the bathtub. We turned her carseat around and she loves her new view and you can tell she feels so big sitting in "Levi's carseat"
She also loves singing (Itsy Bitsy is her current fave) and reading books.

We are all still just as obsessed with her as the day she was born :)
