school

Charlie is doing so great in preschool. We didn't sing up for conferences since I'm at school so much anyways & his teacher is always filling me in on what he's up to. He has made huge improvements socially. He will play with his classmates now (earlier in the year he would only play with the teachers). Earlier in the year he would also just sit down & watch the action which he doesn't do as much anymore. It is so great to see so much progress with his social development as that is the main reason we decided to enroll him in school this year.

Physical & cognitive skills have never been a concern for us. His teacher noted that he has advanced spatial skills. The pictures below show an activity he did where he could correctly fit shapes in the picture. The easier pictures have the color & shape to fill in, but his were just an outline. I'm not sure I could do the pineapple one :) He also shows excellent comprehension skills & follows directions well.
