- Skid loaders
- Tractors & baling hay
- Watching YouTube videos of baling hay, combines, filling silos, knocking down silos, etc.
- Singing songs: Twinkle twinkle & his new favorite is monkey's jumping on the bed
- Puzzles
- Matching cards - we try to only get these out when Levi is sleeping otherwise it's frustrating for everyone. The train cards must be picked last. He makes the best face when he's looking for the match.
- Books - right now there are 7 in the nightime routine. I don't know the titles but we read the following in this order: car book, farm book, rock a bye book, cat in the hat, sheep book, noah's arc book & the other farm book. we usually get through them pretty fast though, especially if he will let us skip 1/2 of the cat in the hat.
- Blocks
- Black crayons
- Racing cars with Levi
- Raspberries
- brushing his teeth
- peeing all over the bathroom floor (not on purpose though)
- eating
- "scooping rocks into my wheelbarrow"
- buying groceries
- Thomas & Cars underwear, blue socks
He always makes this face when he's looking for a match. It's his thinking face. |
-- "Awesome"
-- "No, you stay over there. You no come in here!"
-- At naptime, "I want to go sliding" (I have no idea where this came from or why he always asks at that time)
--"SHHHH, be quiet please. My brother is sleeping."
--"Hi, Levi. How are you little brother?"
--"No Levi, you little stinker."
--"N-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-oooo." or "Levi James, no no no." or just "No Little James!" basically, he likes tellling Levi no.
He has been coming downstairs most mornings when he gets up. It's much better than the whining for us to come get him. The not good part...he can reach the light switch & blinds you out of your slumber by turning the light on & yelling "MOM! YOU GET UP NOW!"
He has also been reciting parts of "The Cat in the Hat." It's so cute when I catch him talking to himself. "So as fast as you can, think of something to do. you have to get rid of thing 1 and thing 2".
He still thinks he is 6. Mom is 2, Dad is 47, 49 or 30. He also knows dad is Erik and calls him that sometimes.
