Easter

I have been looking for some activities to do with Charlie now that he is a little older. He has started to bring home coloring pages from daycare so I was hoping he would be able to focus and do some crafts to mix it up a little bit and to give us something fun to do together. We made some fuzzy bunnies for grandpas and grandmas a couple of nights before Easter.  Grandpa came over when we were just finishing up and we colored eggs.  I was impressed that these activities kept him entertained for a couple of hours & he didn't even make too big of a mess.

We made our first trip south with Levi over Easter. Both boys traveled extremely well & it went smoothly. As usual we did a lot of running around. This was the first time most of our families got to see Levi.  On Saturday we celebrated my Grandpa & Grandma's 60th wedding anniversary with lunch at the Branding Iron. We were all split up & when the waitresses brought us our bills we (us, Ryan & Tyler) gave Charlie our bills and told him to take them to Grandma. He took off on a mission, interrupted grandma's conversation & handed her our bills. He's going to come in handy on occasions like these.  Of course there were also trips to the farm to see the cows & Charlie stayed busy sitting on the tractors in the yard. We even got to haul manure on saturday morning. He wasn't sure if he wanted to drive the tractor or watch the spreader more.

On Easter we went to breakfast and church, then packed up and headed to Kathy's. After lunch the little boys flew kites & did an easter egg hunt. Charlie was really into both activities, especially when he figured out some of the eggs had "monies" in them. When we finally made it home the Easter bunny had been her and left Charlie some Cat in the Hat books & a bubble mower. He has spent a lot of time in the past week mowing the garage.

Gluing cotton balls to make bunnies.

My grandparents. Charlie was more interested in his money he conned out of grandma.

Neither were interested in a dual photo
