Beginning of the Holidays!

November flew by just like every other month. We celebrated Charlie's 1st Thanksgiving at the Sheehan's. Here's Charlie with Great Grandpa & Grandma Hupf. Our plan was to get the 4 little boys together, but trying to get a 4 & 2 year old, a 9 month old & a 3 month old all awake & happy at the same time proved to be a challenge. Charlie ate lots of food off of the Thanksgiving menu including turkey, sweet potatoes, potatoes & squash. After the Sheehan's, we headed down to Great Grandpa & Grandma Evers' to help set up their Christmas tree. Thanksgiving was also Charlie's 9 months. We defenitely had plenty to be thankful for this year, we have a healthy, happy & entertaining little dude! He has brought a lot of joy to our families!
I dominated Black Friday for a majority of Friday with Brooke. Yes, we were those crazy people who got up at 2am...but we got what we wanted! After a couple of nights at Grandpa & Grandma Kappers' we headed home. This is Charlie's traveling/need a bath hairLast Sunday we decided to start a new family tradition and go pick out a Christmas tree. We hadn't really planned on cutting one down but before long there we were watching Erik cut down our tree. The place we went to also had Santa & reindeer! Charlie was curious & content sitting on Santa's lap.Christmas is coming! YAY!Yesterday we took Charlie in for his 9 month pictures. He was a ham for the camera as usual and we got some great shots. Wait until you get your Christmas card, he's so cute! :)

Charlie still isn't quite crawling although he scoots enough to get himself wherever he needs to go. He gets on our hard floors and pushes himself backwards. He must also be in another growth spurt. After consistently sleeping for 10+ hours a night he has been up hungry for the past several nights. He always goes right back to sleep after eating and I just keep telling myself that we are lucky he is generally such a good sleeper. Here's to hoping he decides to go back to his all nighters soon, we're out of shape for this!
