Clever Marketing

Random post: I'm such a sucker for clever marketing strategies. Maybe it was my brief stint in marketing, maybe I'm just a sucker. HAHA.

My latest obsession with clever marketing aired on TLC (perhaps I have a slight obsession with TLC as well) last week, you may have seen it...18 Kids and Counting: First Granduggar. Again for those of you who may have a social life that doesn't revolve around your TV schedule, let me explain. The 18 Kids and Counting is not the interesting marketing part obviously. The show is about Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar who, you guessed it, has 18 kids and counting. They actually just announced a couple episodes ago they are expecting #19 next spring. But recently, their eldest son and his new wife had a baby girl....the first GranDUGGAR! It's so catchy, I wish I would have came up with it.

Speaking of babies, our due date was changed to February 22 - 2 weeks back from the original date. I can feel the baby move a lot so that is fun. Will post some ultrasound pics soon. And probably won't be posting pics of the belly.

This week could potentially be my first 5-day week where I am actually in the classroom teaching. Maybe I will finally learn all of those 7th graders names. That made conferences pretty interesting...

Tonight is the final regular season football game for GSL. They have already clinched the conference title and are ranked #1 in the state. The 2nd season begins next week, which is almost as long as the regular season. Erik and I are thinking of going to the game in Waconia tonight, mostly to hit up BWW in Chanhassen before hand - we'll see what the weather does. This of course would mean that I would have to miss the Biggest Loser & 18 Kids and Counting....the game should be on Wednesday, not nearly as good of a TV night.
