Waylon 6 moths!

Waylon is 6 months old!!! This was a huge month developmentally for him.

He found his feet and loves grabbing on and shoving them in his mouth. The kids like to take his feet out of his jammies so he can get them.

He's rolling everywhere. Once he figured that out, he immediately started rolling both ways. He's pushing way up on his arms and getting his legs underneath him. It is crazy! Especially after slow poke Nora who never wanted to move. He's also sitting up really well on his own. I will put the boppy behind him just in case he tips back, but his forward falls are pretty controlled and he doesn't face plant.

We are just starting to introduce solids. He mostly spits everything right back out. We've tried avocado, sweet potatoe, green beans and bananas so far. Very messy!

His sleep is pretty much crap. He's slowly breaking me. It is not uncommon at all to see every hour on the clock. Now that he can roll over I'm hoping he'll flip and sleep on his tummy...maybe that will help. He HATES the pack and play. Mostly we need to figure out some long term sleeping arrangements for everyone. Please, please, please start sleeping!!! He goes down for the night around 8pm and I have been going to bed at the same time just to try to string together a few naps during the night.

It's a good thing he's so cute though. He loves putting everything in his mouth, grabbing toys, standing up and jumping. He is very tickelish under his arms. He also loves reading books and really kicks his feet and grabs at them.

I took him in for his 6 month visit last week. He is still the peanut - 18lbs 7oz and 26.5"! So really, he is still the 65% for weight, he's just smaller than his siblings (who were 19, 20, & 21lbs at 6 months)We just moved up to size 3 diapers and mostly into 6-9 month clothes.
