After much anticipation, it was finally time for Levi to go to preschool! His first day was 9/11 and although he's only went 2 times, he's a big fan.
Nora was trying to get away and catch Patty.
He's not generally this cooperative for pictures, but happy to be the star of the show on his first day!
Our preschool does offer transportation but since the van would practically be picking him up right behind me dropping him off at daycare, he just comes with me. We have been packing a breakfast and then he just hangs out in the office and eats. After preschool, the van takes him back to daycare. He's not happy about not being able to stay, but I do have to get work done at some point ;) The first day he was quite surprised that we dropped Charlie off at his school.
He got a little hesitant the first day when I took him into the room. He gave me his sad eyes and I thought he was going to cry. But he held it together and when I peeked in a couple of minutes later he was doing just fine. It's hard for me to stay out of the classroom these first few weeks while he (and formerly Charlie) adjusts, but I know it's easier than trying to peel them off of me every time.
Today he went no problem and then I stopped in later to make applesauce with the class. It's fun to see how well he listens to his teachers and he is much more willing to share information
Timehop brought me the 2013 picture the day before Levi's first day of preschool. Time sure does fly!
