We're muddling along through January in Minnesota. After a couple of cold weeks, it's been nice to at least have "reasonable" temperatures allowing a little bit of outside time.
Nora & I went to visit itty, bitty baby Addison with Sarah one weekend.

Mom & dad were going to come up last weekend but since it was supposed to be so nice out, the boys went down there instead. We got some projects done around home that were much over due (putting away last summer's clothes for one...). The boys had fun at the farm. It was (too) quiet around here although Nora and I did quite enjoy sleeping until 9am :)
Kicked back and relaxin wondering where Levi is and why he is not in her face.
There's been a lot of sleep drama with the little one. Getting too big for the bassinet, fighting sleep like crazy at night and then tons of wake ups. She did sleep in her crib for a few hours for a few nights but it is such a project to get her to sleep and stay asleep. I was tired. So, we are borrowing a rock & play sleeper from my friend/boss/Parent Ed teacher. She swore to me it contained magic sleepy baby dust. We've used it for 4 nights and not to jinx it but...I'm sold.
While the boys were away we also went through their toys. I thought they were at the point where they had so many options they didn't even know what to play with. We got rid of a lot of stuff and did some reorganizing. They have been playing together great the last few days and haven't asked about any of the missing stuff. Levi was pretty upset when he noticed Erik tossed his potty chart (still on the bathroom wall since July) and a paper windbreaker Charlie made in Sunday School at some point last school year. I was kind of surprised since Charlie is the super observant one.
Charlie wanted to take pictures of the 3 of us last night. I tried explaining to him that him sitting on the floor and shooting up wasn't a great angle for mom but he didn't get it :)
Back to the button shirts for preschool and he had to accessorize with his tie from Deb & Loren's wedding. He's happy to be back in school. Levi is doing ECFE too although he is NOT a fan of separating. Everyone comments on how quiet & shy he is at school but I assure them he is never like that at home.
