It was a busy, busy year!! Here are some highlights & 1 or 2 pictures from each month!
January:
An amazing trip to Hawaii - mostly work for Erik but we did have some time to explore and relax (24/7 relaxation for me). Thank goodness because it was the longest winter ever. I seriously did not believe that it could be warm in other places in winter until we got there.
Found out we were expecting baby #3!
2 big birthdays - Charlie turned 4 and Levi turned 2
--Jake birthday party. (They look so little!)
--I think Erik traveled for pretty much the entire month. I tried to stay awake.
-- Our first adventure in chicken farming
-- Announcing our pregnancy
-- It was still cold. And snowed. But there is green grass in the pictures so maybe I am being dramatic but I swear I wore my winter boots until school got out.
--An extended ear infection/allergies/cold that resulted in a few dr visits for Levi.
-- Great 20 week anatomy scan for baby #3
-- done with work for the summer & enjoyed being home every day!
-- the boys and I spent a week helping with Haiden & hanging out in SV.
--I apparently did extra bad at taking pictures in June
--replanting the garden over July 4th weekend
--showing Baby Sandy & Izzie at the fair
-- Levi potty trained!
--an extended weird stomach/throat virus for Charlie that resulted in several visits to Urgent Care/the doctor.
-- birth of Cousin/Nephew Travis
-- lots & lots of swimming
--back to work at the end of the month :(
-- Charlie's first day of 3xweek preschool
-- Charlie is a ringbearer in Deb & Loren's wedding
-- days and nights spent dealing with garden produce, making freezer meals and general nesting.
--The highlight of the YEAR: Baby Nora is born!
-- Our daycare of 4+ years closes. I extend my leave from work until next fall!
-- Cookie baking at Great grandpa & grandma's house
--Enjoying the holidays as a family of 5!!!
