- When counting: "One, two, seven, eight, nine, seven, eight, nine, seven, eight..."
- Tonight he was saying, "7,8,9" over and over and soon it turned into "f,g,h,i,j,k,l,m,n,o,p" Then we started singing the abc's and he knows most of it.
- He's still really good at identifying letters and likes to make me write letters.
- "I help you"
- He is into wearing a hat backwards & likes to put on his shoes & sandals.
- Socks are required for everyone at all times.
- He can still eat.
- If you have Levi and he wants something he will say "Give him back" which means to give Levi to someone else so you can help him.
- "oh my gooshness"
- He loves cereal (Golden Grahams, Special K, Cheerios, in that order)
- He repeats pretty much everything.
- When we ask him a question he will usually say "Yeah" and then repeat what you said. It doesn't even have to be the truth...
- Tractors, trains, busses, airplanes, trucks, animals, backhoes, and most recently grain bins are on his radar. Our trip to town will be bins, horses, cows, tractors, where the buses go, trains, cars & then when we turn onto Cheri's road "kids watching Cars? Jackson, cars?"
- He is pretty much over Caillou (darn) and is completely obsessed with Cars now. Curious George, Thomas & The Cat in the Hat will keep him temporarily entertained sometimes.
- He's also temporarily over pancakes.
- Bedtime is getting better. We read books and he has been staying in his room & going right to sleep! It helps that he's playing outside a lot more at night.
Testing out the shocks on the bouncy chair. |
About 3 weeks old? |
He loves giving Levi his bottle & usually doesn't use excessive force. |
Ready to put a diaper on his baby. |
Still a good helper in the kitchen, he likes getting his stool and helping unload the dishewasher & with pushing buttons on the washer. |
Bad hair day |
Reading to Levi |
Erik left him unattended for a minute and this is what he came back to, a whole package of unwrapped gum. |
