Mama's Little Helper - 15 months

Here's a quick 15 month update on Charlie. He can walk when he wants to and can go all the way across the room, but still prefers crawling. He loves being outside, although we might need to get chains for the tires on the stroller with all of this mud. His second favorite place is the bathroom.

Charlie is still a great eater, he loves fruit, beans, peas, cheese...pretty much everything.He is really starting to mimic everything we do. He tries to put his socks, shoes, and jacket on and will also pick out books and push over to me to read, which is pretty much my favorite thing in the world right now! I have not been very good at signing with Charlie but he has recently started signing "more" so hopefully I will get better about doing some basic signs with him. He says a few words, he jabbers a lot with a very serious look on his face but I have no idea what he's saying. We have decided he says "dadda", "mamma", some form of "daisy", "byebye", "hello", and "ball".

We have been enjoying restful nights. Charlie is in bed by 8pm and is up between 5:30-6:00am. I'm hoping we can push that wake up time back a little bit in a couple of weeks! He does not like taking a nap at home and fights pretty hard at daycare sometimes too.  He goes to bed really well & has even let me rock him the last few night (there was a little phase where he would not settle down and rock).

 I let him do this...I was trying to do the dishes, he was entertained. It worked, the dishes got done.

This made daddy's day.

 A new favorite activity is to throw all of the clean diapers (or whatever is in a basket) out. He always puts them back though!
