Double digits :) Crazy, crazy month and the end of summer.
The biggest change for Waylon this month is that we moved to our new house!!! This also means that we finally moved Nora out of the crib, so he even has a place to sleep and his OWN room! It has been a slow transition getting him to sleep in there, but most of that is due to my laziness/extreme exhaustion. But we'll get there. His sleeping patterns remain mostly the same, he just loves waking up at 10:30 (and multiple other times) and I really wish he'd get over that! Sometimes he is just so restless and flops around constantly. He has been sleeping until 7-7:30 so I suppose that will have to move up a bit now as we get back into our school year routine, hopefully daycare will also wear him out and he'll go down easier and earlier at night, too.
Mr. Babycakes is pulling up on everything, crawls very fast and gets into everything! He now tries to crawl INTO the bathtub, pulls open cabinets and clears a path with his arms through the toys. The kids yell "TORNADO WARNING" whenever he comes into their area where they have stuff set up. He tends to destroy a lot of farming operations.
This month also brought another tooth on the bottom and 3 on the top. No wonder he seemed grouchy, that's a lot of teeth! There are definitely more coming soon, too. He likes sorting his food and is generally just obsessed with eating. Lots of screaming and whining if he doesn't get his way in the high chair, especially if what he wants is within his sight.
He's starting to play peek a boo and loves dancing to music. He gets a kick out of watching his siblings and is always trying to get in on the action. He's loud, just like the rest of them :)
Sometimes he will play so nice on the floor for long periods of time. Other times he wants to be held constantly and will not let me put him down. Changing his diaper is ridiculous, he flops all over the place and will not hold still. He's perfected the arched back when he doesn't want to be held, too.
His first birthday will be here before we know it. Can't believe it!
