At Waylon's 2 month appointment, he was 12#, 15oz and 23" long. That means he's still our runt as the other kids were close to or over 14# at 2 months. He is by no means little though! The nurse got an "are you sure?" notice when she typed in his weight because he jumped up so much on the growth curve since his last appointment. So eating and growing are not a problem!
The BEST part of this month was Waylon starting to smile. Right around Christmas he started smiling and before long started smiling back at people. When he was born, I thought he looked a lot like Levi. Right now, I think he usually looks like Charlie but I definitely see Levi a lot too!
Waylon strongly dislikes bath time but doesn't mind showers or baths with me, so that is what we have been doing. He actually does love floating in the tub, I am sure it is the whole getting out and being cold part he really hates! This month he also continued to be grumpy in the evenings from around 8-10pm. His tummy gets really hard and that is the course of his anger. I'm not sure why it only happens at night though. I did take him to the chiropractor a couple of times...not sure if it made much of a difference, but he did show me some good infant massage techniques and recommended some good infant probiotics to keep his system moving. He is still the loudest tooter & burper around drawing big laughs from everyone.
His night time sleep remains pretty inconsistent but usually goes down around 10-11pm, up around 1:30-2:30 and then again at 4-5am.
Lots of pictures from Christmas. I never get sick of festive holiday wear.
Only 2/4 (well, I suppose really 1/3, Waylon slept) were interested in talking to Santa.
Thursdays are notoriously not great around here. Everyone is so tired and ready for the weekend. This night Charlie & Waylon fell asleep in the chair while mom & dad dealt with 2 very disgruntled siblings.
I left W sleeping on the couch and ran upstairs to start the washer. They moved him to the bed so they could take a nap with him....like Nora, he is proving to be a very patient and tolerant baby.
Helping at Charlie's holiday party at school. Mr. Outgoing loved showing him off.
First smiles and a great birthday present for me~!!
