Spring fun

Time is flying by! This past week was crazy. Last Sunday I conned Erik into chaperoning the State FFA Convention with me. We took 15 kids and all went well. Lucky for Erik, he only got to stay 1 night, so he didn't really get the full experience. The ag mechanics team got 3rd place, so they got to go up on stage. Only the 1st place team gets to go to nationals but we were very happy with how we did and its the highest a G-SL team has ever placed. Missing two days of school and staying up babysitting takes its toll on a person. Tonight is our annual banquet and that will be kind of the end of our year, I can't wait!

Before we went to State Convention, we were outside working on cleaning up the property a little. We've pulled a ton of trees and it looks a lot better. We have also mowed back a bunch of weeds, but theres a lot of junk in the way so it makes its a little more challenging. Daisy was trying to help too, although her idea of helping is dragging our little trees all over the yard. At one point she was trying to pull a tree out of the ground, I wish I would have gotten video of it. It was pretty entertaining. Here's some pics of us moving trees with the C.

Here's a video of Daisy playing fetch with the neighbor's dog Molly. Daisy doesn't really like to share and she's got it figured out. She's so funny how so squats down and then ambushes and steals. She'll chase Molly around until she catches her and Molly gives in pretty easy, she won't even play anymore.
